For the heat sealing of polyvinyl chloride and aluminum foil, we can adopt two methods: roll type or plate type.

A layer of hot-melt adhesive is coated on the aluminum foil, and the heating temperature is 100~130℃. If the temperature is too high, it will deform the container and affect the packaged contents. If the temperature is too low, the adhesive will not be fully melted, which will affect the bonding strength.

In order to improve the bonding strength and beautify the appearance, it is necessary to engrave the mesh pattern or dot pattern on the heat-sealing roller or heat-sealing plate.

In addition to the need to understand the heat sealing method, we should also understand the packaging materials of the thermoforming packaging machine.

The choice of plastic film has a direct impact on the molding quality, so the plastic film is required to have better molding properties, such as a large molding temperature range, good fluidity, and small shrinkage. The materials that meet these requirements mainly include polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, etc., and their composite products.

In addition to aluminum foil, the covering material can also be plastic sheet, cellophane or composite cardboard.

The requirements for the adhesive are non-toxic, odorless, airtight, impermeable, low melting temperature, and proper bonding strength. Commonly used are polyurethane resin plus polyvinyl chloride and so on.
